Anne Frank

Her Life in Hard Times

Thesis

Anne Frank is a jew whose religion suffered greatly with consequences they didn't deserve. Their religon suffered anti-semitism- the hatred of Jews- during World War II and the Holocaust. She kept a diary documenting their time in this situation.  Adolf Hitler took over during this time and ruled most of the Germany area. Hitler and the Nazis targeted certain groups of people based on beliefs and looks, not actions.

"So far you truly have been a great source of comfort to me, and so has Kitty, whom I now write to regularly. This way of keeping a diary is much nicer, and now I can hardly wait for those moments I'm able to write in you.

Oh, I'm so glad I brought you along!

~ Anne Frank
